ThermAtlantic 80 USG Stainless Steel Buffer Tank has everything you need. This tank was made specifically to be used as a storage tank or as a buffer tank with hydraulic separation. Additionally, it can be equipped with optional backup heat elements that are field-installed, which in some configurations can remove the requirement for a backup boiler. These tanks, which are made of premium 16 AWG 316L stainless steel, are intended to last at least 10 years in potable water applications and 10 to 25 years in closed-loop hydronic installations. Use of the tank is permitted up to 90°C/194°F and up to 150 PSI and requires the purchase of a separate T&P valve suited for the application.
