We are on the cusp of an NFL offseason that brings hope to every fan, no matter how their teams performed in 2021. All 32 franchises have opportunities to improve in the next two months thanks to agency freedom and the 2022 NFL Draft. . Teams just have to use these opportunities. Free agency and the league's official year will officially begin next Wednesday. Some teams may be better able to take advantage of the freedom of action than others, but they will all soon face major decisions when it comes to filling gaps and replenishing their rosters. After all, not all teams have the capital to trade a top quarterback like Russell Wilson and will have to look for alternative ways to improve their lineups. Pro Football Focus decided to analyze the needs of each team and found one available free agent that would be perfect for each team, from available known players to substitutes or even rotation players who can offer value on cheaper deals. Players like Haason Reddick, Juju Smith-Schuster and Marcus May could be key players in the right franchise. Below we list the matches for each team (in alphabetical order). Arizona Cardinals: CC Carlton Davis The cornerback was expected to be Arizona's clear weakness entering the 2021 season, but the team actually got a solid game from Robert Alford, who lost two seasons in a row due to injury. When Alford became a free agent, the Cardinals could once again use talent in that position. Davis has the skill set to become a legitimate No. 1 option on the outside should Arizona decide to prioritize the secondary defensive line. Davis' 44 forced non-completions since 2019 is the most in the NFL. Atlanta Falcons: WR Juju Smith-Shuster Few quarterbacks have thrown the ball between numbers with more speed than Matt Ryan in 2021, and that's unlikely to change when Arthur Smith takes over the show in Atlanta. Smith-Schuster will give him a physical, reliable target in center field and a potential high-value candidate after he returns to the ground in a Pittsburgh Steelers offense that has gone in the wrong direction over the past two seasons. He may not be the primary passer option that some thought he might have been early in his career, but the Smith-Schuster is still a solid addition. Baltimore Ravens: DT Florunso Fatukashi The Ravens always seem to have a big nose grab in the middle of their defensive line. And Fatukashi fits that pattern. In the 2019 and 2020 seasons, he was ranked 97th among all inside linebackers in the PFF defensive class before returning to that department in 2021 for the Jets. Brandon Williams and Justin Ellis are set to move to Baltimore on free agency this offseason, leaving the Ravens to replace their snaps.
