April 20 is not a date like any other. In addition to various historically relevant events, April 20th is also World Cannabis Day, World Stoner Day or World Marijuana Day. Over time, this tag has gained such a massive pop culture impact that we here at Overkill take the trouble to look at it a little more closely. The day, which is often referred to by the "stonehead community" and the industry alike as just 4/20 (the American way of writing it), Real Fake Jordan Shoes is no longer just celebrated by so-called stoners; who pay homage to the marijuana culture of some sort.
For us as a sneaker boutique, it is primarily brands like Nike and adidas that are relevant. They've been releasing limited-edition sneakers related to that same marijuana culture every year for a while now. adidas is doing this this year in the form of a collaboration with the US animation series South Park, whose character Towelie is the hero of this collaboration and of course also appears in our Overkillshop. The shoe will of course be released on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, but you could only win a purchase option for the shoe by participating in a raffle, which has now ended. So this blog post is not about sales-promoting marketing for the collabo mentioned, but about bringing you closer to the adidas campus and this version of the campus with its funny storytelling.
