2. Before applying before applying, trim the backing of the paper around the perimeter, making sure it is as closely as possible (without actually cutting the graphic). The paper backing should be removed from the inside of the vent and bolt holes. Verify the alignment of the vents, holes and curves as well as the edges of your graphic with the plastic.
3. Peel off half of the backing, making sure not to let dust or debris to collect onto the adhesive side. For plates for the sides, cut the backing vertically and horizontally to make front plates. Cut a half-inch-long strip from the removed half of the backing. Apply the remaining backing to graphic, lining it up with holes and edges.
4. Make sure the graphic is aligned with the plastic in order to avoid the center strip from sticking. Once the graphic is aligned, attach the center strip to the plastic.
5. Peel the backing of the paper from one half, holding the graphic upwards and away from the plastic. Apply slowly, sliding one finger in and out of the graphic, pressing out wrinkles and air bubbles. The heat can be applied using a heat gun or hair dryer in this procedure to remove wrinkles and air bubbles.
6. Take the backing paper off of the opposite side and apply the image in the way explained in step 4. Repeat steps for the remaining graphic.
