Budget Friendly - Rotor Riot Gamepad Controller This controller is one of the first ones that I purchased and I was a huge fan! I didn't like the idea that I could use my Xbox controller, or Playstation because of being able to play a lot on consoles, and having to sync each when I switched to be too much of an irritation.
Best iPhone gaming controllers This Rotor Riot Gamepad Controller allowed me to keep my console gaming separated to my smartphone gaming. The wire technology let it be completely independent and instant in connecting it with my iPhone. My only complaint in it was larger models of the iPhone, such as Pro Max versions iPhone Pro Max versions weren't very comfortable to use for long periods of time.
The buttons are adequate, but it won't be able to compete with an Xbox or DualShock controller in the button department. If you're comfortable syncing and switching between console and mobile devices or don't have a console than I suggest taking this controller off and buying a dedicated console controller equipped with an adapter clamp that will allow you to clip your iPhone to the controller you prefer.
Mid-tier: SteelSeries Nimbus+ This controller allows you to switch between devices like the Mac, Apple TV, and iPhone or iPad quickly since it's wireless. It's costlier than the Gamepad of the same name from the Rotor however it has an improved build and wireless. I consider it a worthy inclusion on the Best iPhone Gaming Controllers list due to its versatility as well as its design and the price. I would say that I prefer the none symmetrical joystick design.
SteelSeries Nimbus+ Wireless Gaming Controller
High-Tier: Razer Kishi & Backbone One
We received two controllers at the top of the line of this best iPhone gaming controllers list and I have to say that they are both approximately the same price, depending on what sales Amazon may be running, however both are great design and build quality. They are the close as you can get to portability and quality perfect.
Razer Kishi Razer Kishi for iOS Lightning (Not the USB C version) My personal preference for my iPhone gaming needs using a controller due to the flexibility and portability of this controller. The right joystick can be a little strange in its position compared to my smaller-medium hand and the d-pad is rather strange, so getting familiar with it is something you will be required to learn. I picked this model in preference to the Backbone One even though it did not have those issues due to the fact that it folds down into a compact shape so that could be tucked away in the back of my bag or into pockets for traveling.
Razer Kishi Folded The iPhone is really compact and great for gaming on the go.cronus zen nintendo switchown an iPhone 13 Pro Max and it's working flawlessly. The controller will fit pretty much every modern iPhone even the Mini series so don't worry about it not being a good fit. Last thing you should know is the fact that it comes in two versions : 1. for iOS and 2. for Android that use USB C. PS: This works in conjunction with Xbox Game Pass and OpenEmulator for iPhone.
Backbone One Backbone One This is the other high end option for the Best iPhone Gaming Controllers list and I'll tell you that I almost went to this model over the Razer Kishi due to the fact that this controller has better joystick positioning and a more robust, heavier, and a firmer feel to it. This gives it a bit more "pro" gaming feeling, however, the design isn't my favorite. However, you have to decide whether you prefer portability over than quality, or quality over mobility?
It is true that this device includes an application launcher software for games that's pretty cool, but to me, it's an untruth and I wouldn't even consider it when deciding between this model and Razer Kishi.
I still can suggest this product based on the information I've gathered and found out that it is a great choice . It's only individual preference that differentiates this Backbone One and the Razer Kishi as both are priced at about $100. PS this is compatible with Xbox Game Pass
The most reasonable choice... If you're looking to get the perfect balance of budget friendly and build quality it is recommended to avoid paying more than sixty dollars to buy a controller. Instead, just get one of the controllers from Xbox or PlayStation using the DualShock. Those are wireless and high-end build quality is something these $100 controllers cannot beat, however these do beat the console controllers from the official brand in terms of portability.
Xbox Controller The Xbox controller is the best value and quality balance however, before I go there are some things you need to know when the use of an Xbox controller on an iPhone: 1. The paddles won't work with the Elite Series 2 and the Elite Series 1 doesn't have Bluetooth to it, so it won't be able to work. All the different Bluetooth modern Xbox controllers will work just fine.
These are The Best iPhone Gaming Controllers For You 8 PlayStation Dual Shock Controller This controller has been tested and tested for compatibility with Emulators and almost anything game related in iOS However, the new PS5 controller will not support adaptive triggers because of Sony not allowing it. Both PS4 version and the PS5 version controllers will work great with iPhone.
