Dry Set Up
Clean your hands, your plastics, and work areas. Clean the plastic on your machine's front and back sides.
Before applying, trim the paper backing around the perimeter to be as closely as is possible (without cutting the graphic). The backing of the paper must be taken away from bolt and vent holes. Examine that the lines of your holes, vents, curves, and the edges of your design against the plastic.
Take off the half-inch backing, taking care not to allow dust or debris to collect on the adhesive side. For side plates cut the backing horizontally and vertically for front plates. Take a half inch strip of backing, and cut it off. Attach the backing that remains to graphic, aligning it with edges and holes.
Make sure the graphic is aligned with the plastic in order to avoid the center strip from sticking. After the graphic is properly aligned, attach the strip that is the center to the plastic.
The backing of the paper must be removed from one side. Hold the graphic in the correct position and keep it from plastic. Apply slowly by moving your finger along the image. The heat can be applied using the help of a heat gun or hair dryer during this process to help remove wrinkles and air bubbles.
Remove the backing paper from the other half, and then apply the graphic as described in step 4. If you want to apply other graphics, repeat the steps.
Wet Installation
Be sure to wash your hands, plastics and work area. Clean the plastics on the machine's front and back sides.
Cut the backing of the paper so that it is as close as you can to the graphic prior to applying. The backing paper should be removed from the interior of the vent and bolt holes. Examine the alignment of the holes, vents and curves of the graphic with the plastic.
Spray a fine mist of application fluid on your plastic. Take off the backing paper and make sure the adhesive side is clean. Apply a fine mist fluid to mist the adhesive side.
Apply the decal gently to the plastic, while marking vent holes. After everything is properly lined up, start at the center of the area and then move the application fluid to the edges using the help of a squeegee.
While you are continuing the squeegee process and continue to squeegee, you can use heat using a heat gun or hair dryer in order to speed up the drying process. The heat will also help to work out bubbles, and smooth wrinkles.
Use a clean, dry cloth to remove any excess liquid that remains on the edges of the plastic. It is advised that you not ride on your dirtbike or quad for at least 24 hours in order to ensure the proper adhesion of the decal.
