God's nature is utterly untainted by wrong; the Holy God is the creator of virtues like honesty, patience, purity, holiness, love, and much more, and this is the blueprint He followed when designing our planet.

Can You Believe In God Religion?

God's standards for us are a reflection of who He is, not just to make things more difficult. His potential for change or growth is nonexistent. God won't do anything that goes against His character.
These are the fundamental laws of the universe that will never change.
The God in the Bible created everything in the universe, even tiny things we can't see. Check out what the Bible says here:

"I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. (Isaiah 42:8)
For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. (Deuteronomy 4:24)
The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. (Psalm 113:4)
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. (1 Chronicles 29:11)
All the angels were standing around the throne...They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, (Revelation 7:11)

Many folks today are only acquainted with God through hearsay, they haven't had a real meeting with Him.

God is the ruler of everything, including us, and He wants what rightfully belongs to Him. He wants us to love and serve Him back for all the good He's done.
It's not easy to accept, but God has ultimate authority over the world, like a toy that He can play with. If we invented it, we would have the right to decide how it works. In contrast, God says:

'Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.' (Deuteronomy 6:5-6)

Removing danger would mean we have to give up free will and be like robots, which God didn't want. But, that is certainly not what God wanted. He wanted creatures that could willingly and freely love Him.
A creature that reflected some of God's attributes.

Free will can lead people to reject you, which is a potential downside.

It's true, the problem with granting your created being their own free choice to choose how they live, is that they might rebel against the maker, and that is exactly what we did.
It's a problem because we often do things or think things that the Bible calls sin. When we do these things, it's like going against the very essence of God's nature and holiness, and it's like breaking the laws of the universe that He ordained. These negative things have created a gap between us and God.

'The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?'(Jeremiah 17:9)
'But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.' (Psalm 19:12)

Remember, each time you do something bad, you create a debt that God holds you accountable for.

The things we owe to God that we must fulfill:
'And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.' (Matthew 6:12)

Can you see how all of these things are not in line with God's perfect purity?
God is against stealing, according to the Bible. Have you ever stolen anything in your life?
The Bible imparts the lesson that coveting others' possessions is morally wrong. Have you ever grappled with envy regarding your friend's partner, existence, possessions, or dwelling?
God commands that we honor our parents. Did you ever disrespect your parents by answering back?
It's against God's commandments to use His Name disrespectfully or in vain. Have you ever used God's Name in a careless or disrespectful way?

No secret is safe from God, He knows everything. Remember, we saw that God can't let any bad thing go unresolved. Eventually, ALL the bad things will be scrutinized. Or, you could describe it as being in accordance with the unchangeable laws of the universe. The Bible refers to it as pacifying God's wrath. This may come as a surprise to some who think that God loves everyone to the extreme. So much so, that people have come to believe that God could never be wrathful with anybody because of any wrong they do. Many people who are unaware of the basics argue that God is supposed to love us unconditionally.
While God loves the world, we must also consider His holiness. It is impossible.

The nature of God, eternal in essence, defies our understanding when we apply our expectations, behavior, and earthly benchmarks.
He's like nothing you've ever seen before, and the Bible tells us all about Him. Trying to make God follow our rules is pointless and won't lead us anywhere real.

People wrongly blame God for the things that go wrong in the world, but it is not God’s fault. The things He created were without flaws. Adam screwed up and we're still suffering from it.

According to God's Word...

'For all have sinned (done wrongs things), and do need the glory of God. wrongs' (Romans 3:23)

Being a good person and doing good things won't protect you from the punishment for bad thoughts and actions. You need Jesus Christ to be saved. Just because you're a good person and attend church, doesn't mean you're going to heaven. It's essential to admit our sins to God and ask for His forgiveness with a genuine heart. We need to commit ourselves entirely to God after asking for forgiveness.
Again, the Bible speaks of the dreadful outcomes of our wrong decisions, like ending up in hell:

'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' (Romans 6:23)

The Price for Your Mistakes, Paid by God

Thankfully, God provided a solution for all the wrong things we do that satisfies His unchanging laws of the universe.
Jesus Christ was sent by God to die and rise again, as part of God's glorious plan. The incredible plan was executed in front of everyone, including humans, angels, and Satan. We can't fix our wrongs with anything else.

You may say, "God is too severe! I thought He was all about love." God is a loving entity., but, the Bible is very clear, you cannot have His love without His terrifying justice as well. They both need to be recognized.
Understanding God requires more than just our own intellect. It's dangerous to think that God will obey our rules because it's not true. God knows every thought you have, so you can't fool Him or make Him forget.

Totally Yield Your Life to God Is Next

When one is truly sorry for all the wrong they have done, they will automatically then, want to live for God. God wants us to do this. It's like giving God the ultimate control in our lives for eternity. We comply with everything the Bible requires of us.
The Bible suggests that's the proper way to do things:

'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)

God never made this statement; ‘Just be a good or nice person, do many good things for other people, and you will be saved and live with me in heaven.’
God has given us guidance on how to be forgiven of our sins:

'To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:

"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:'God, I thank you that I am not like other people--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'
"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said,'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'
"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." (Luke 18:9-14)

The religious man in the story didn't do "bad" sins like arson, but God did not grant him forgiveness.
God forgave the tax collector despite his cheating because he repented. Admitting our mistakes and handing our lives over to God is a hard thing to do. Nonetheless, to be saved from our mistakes, we must humble ourselves before God and surrender.

Jesus Christ said:

'He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
'And said, “Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.' (Matthew 18:2-3)

Performing good deeds solely for God's sake won't result in our salvation; salvation from hell isn't obtained through moral goodness.

'You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own.' (Ephesians 2:8)

Do You Understand The Gravity Of Your Sins And The Punishment That Comes With Them?

'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)

Taking up your cross every day means living a life that pleases God, not yourself.

The Holy Bible reminds us that:

'Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

'But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.' (1Peter 3:15)

To cut to the chase:

You come to terms with your faults and sins in the eyes of God. You honestly regret your misdeed. You accept Jesus Christ as your authority figure. It's a lifetime commitment to follow. The Bible tells us to live for God, and that's exactly what we do. Set aside daily time to read and study the Bible. Making it a practice to pray to God every day. Sharing about God with others. Supporting those who are struggling. You dedicate your life to serving the cause of God Most High forever.
God our Father brings us to glorious heaven.
