Lane is both an avid listener and writer, intrigued by stories with intimate details and big ideas. She interviews strangers in hopes of understanding them - from feral children to elderly men committing suicide - as well as writing about her family, Lorelai, Rory and herself.Lane attempts to break free from her mother's restrictive standards by devising elaborate schemes to see her boyfriends and friends, wear makeup, play in her band, go to parties, and consume junk food. Unfortunately, her attempts at rebellion often backfire - such as meeting Henry a young Korean doctor set up by Mrs Kim who wanted her to date someone in medicine.

Patrick Lane founded the business with an intention of producing unique boots in 2007. His mission was to craft stylish yet sturdy western wear boots made in Texas that stood out among their counterparts on the market, which he considers successful in reaching.
