When you are in an interview, there are certain statements that you should never make. These statements can take the form of questions, comments, or even jokes. Regardless of how harmless they may seem, they can come across as rude, unprofessional, or just plain strange.

To help you avoid saying the wrong thing in your interview, here is a list of statements that you should never make:

  • “This is a stupid question.”
  • “I don’t know.”
  • “I’m not sure if I’m the right person for the job.”
  • “I’m not comfortable with that.”
  • “What does this company do?”
  • "I’mpretty good at everything
  • "I don’t have any questions"
  • "I’ve never failed at anything"
  • "I can start anytime"
  • "I can work long hours"
  • "I don’t get along with people"

Asking any of these questions or making any of these comments in an interview is sure to give the interviewer a bad impression of you. So, do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs!
