Get them in other sizes so here is one that is I believe 3/4 of an inch and you can see how it looks very similar right it still has that that line of demarcation down the center where it's going to fold and we have a matte side and then a slightly shiny side doesn't matter which with you're using again they all are applied in exactly the same manner sometimes you might find that they are listing the folded width so it might say for instance the Emerald Aran black beauty bra pattern states that she's using 3/8 of an inch elastic.

That's 3/8 of an inch folded the elastic actually comes with her kits is six eighths of an inch once it's flat so when you're purchasing fold over elastic you need to make sure you understand what that measurement corresponds to is it the the flat width of the elastic or the folded width of the elastic so I have two ways that I like to apply this the first is probably a more beginner friendly way and that means we're going to do it in two separate passes and then I'm also going to show you how to apply it in a single pass.

The World's Most Famous lingerie, Panties

So you only have to go through your sewing machine once with the elastic so let's jump on over to the machine and see what that looks like first way I'm going to show you is sort of a beginner's method this is sort of a foolproof method which I find always really works for me.

Lingerie & Underwear

So I do this especially if I'm working with particularly difficult fabrics that are slinky and hard to use so I'm going to set my machine to a straight stitch and I want to put it as long as I possibly can so basically a basting stitch then I want to have my fabric set up with the right side of the fabric facing up and then whatever side of the Pico arm sorry of the fold over elastic
